Moving forward with painting the Ford Ka's side panel, doing extensive sanding to correct the surface and prepare the paint base. It also highlights the weight of the preparation stage to achieve a better result later
Tools used
- random orbital sander
- sanding disc (correct size for the random orbital sander)
- abrasive sponge
- sanding block (with hook-and-loop / velcro)
- sandpaper sheet (grit 150 (initial roughing), 220 (putty), 320 (putty refining), 400 (side finishing))
- flathead screwdriver (small)
- compressor / blow gun
