Engine Bay Floor Painting - Part 2/2 - VW Brasilia
Completes the painting of the Brasilia's engine bay floor, finishing coverage and surface finish. Also sets the stage for reassembling the overhauled parts
Tools used
- paint spray gun (suction feed spray gun (bottom siphon); used with an adapted hose to paint the engine floor)
- hose (adaptation to paint lower section) (hose attached to the spray gun to reach the lower area of the engine bay)
- 400-grit wet sandpaper (400-grit)
- 1500-grit wet sandpaper (1500-grit)
- 600-grit wet sandpaper (600-grit (final finish before paint))
- fine wire (tip used to remove wet paint and clear coat drips while still fresh)
