This page brings together the instrument-panel/electronic-control-unit wiring diagram for the Ford Ka with the Endura engine, based on the technical manual, along with the channel's practical videos about this car's electrical system.
Useful for understanding the instrument-panel signals (temperature, RPM, fuel, "engine management") and for researching references before working on the car.
Instrument panel wiring diagram — Ford Ka Endura
During the livestream on 27 March 2018, a viewer asked whether the Ka's instrument panel receives a temperature signal like the Fiesta's. In the Ka technical manual I have, a signal labeled "engine management" appears to enter the panel; I am not sure exactly what this wire is.
In any case, the electronic-control-unit diagram below shows the temperature sensor on wire "29". I believe it could be used to feed information to a coolant-temperature gauge. This needs further research.
